Om myseprotein

Myseprotein er en samling av proteiner som er i myse, et biprodukt som kommer av å lage ost. Når noe som kuagulerer (vanligvis renin) er tilsatt til melk, blir ostemassen (kasein) og mysen separert, og myseproteinet er det vannløselige delen av melken. Som et kosttilskudd, er det solgt som pulver med forskjellige grader av prosessering som påvirker hvor konsentrert kilden til proteinet er og hvor fort det blir absorbert.
